Fees will no longer be required for silks or stable name registration at New York Racing Association (NYRA) racetracks or Finger Lakes Racetrack, which simplifies the process for owners and horsemen, the Jockey Club of America said in a press release on Thursday.The silks registration process has been streamlined, which will substantially eliminate the need for owners to have one set of silks for New York and another elsewhere.The Jockey Club is required to perform these duties under New York state code, Rules and Regulations, New York State Gaming Commission, Rules of Racing.Following are the new guidelines for silks registration:Colors must be registered in the name of one person only; NOT a stable name or Mr. & Mrs. (example: Mary E.
