Kote Road in Mysuru on Thursday, prepared pakodas and distributed them to the public to highlight the absence of jobs for the youth in the country.The activists shouted slogans against the BJP government at the Centre.Questioning Mr. Modi over the number of jobs created for the youth in the country, president of Mysuru district youth Congress committee Chandan Gowda said the Prime Minister had not addressed any press conferences since he assumed power. Criticising the Centre for the rise in prices of fuel, the Youth Congress activists said the government had now announced a levy even on UPI transactions.After forcing former Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign, the youth will be forced to target Mr. Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah next, he said.Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson M. Lakshmana, who was also present on the occasion, said it was shameful that the BJP had taken up a month-long campaign to publicise Mr. Modi’s achievements to mark his birthday. He said the BJP has ruined the country and taken it 100 years back.
