Parasuram Express to be upgraded to LHB coaches - The HinduPublished - September 17, 2026 08:48 pm IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAMThe Parasuram Express operating between Kanniyakumari and Mangaluru Central will be converted from conventional ICF coaches to modern Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches with effect from the train departing Mangaluru Central on and fromSeptember 22 and the return train departing Kanniyakumari on and from September 23.The revised rake composition will comprise 22 LHB coaches: Two AC chair cars (C1 & C2), three reserved second sitting (D1 to D3), six second sitting (unreserved), nine general second class (unreserved), one second class (for the differently abled), and one luggage cum power car coach.
