Leading stallion Gun Runner picked up another seven-figure yearling Monday when a half-brother (hip 98) to MGISW Paradise Woods (Union Rags) brought an even $1.5 million Monday from Coolmore M.V. Magnier who partnered with Peter Brant's White Birch Farm.Consigned by Lane's End, the colt was bred in Kentucky by Alpha Delta Stables.In addition to Paradise Woods, the mare has also produced SW Forest Chatter (Dixie Chatter) along with the dams of GISW Reef Runner (The Big Beast) and MGSW Lady Aces (Constitution).“He's been a really special colt,” said Lane's End Sales Director Allaire Ryan. “We foaled and raised him for his breeder, John Clay on the farm. And he's not only been a forward, impressive individual from day one, but he's just one of those horses that carries himself with so much class and composure. Even as a baby, very laid back, kind of cool dude. And he showed himself so consistently up here.
