Dancehall artist Sama Sojah has opened up about what he describes as a dark side of the local entertainment industry, claiming that witchcraft and spiritual attacks are real and that he has personally experienced frightening incidents.The outspoken artist alleged that he has twice found strange snake-like creatures with limbs at his home, which he believes were sent to him through spiritual means.Sama Sojah described the creatures as “Embalabasi,” claiming that they originate from deep waters and resemble a combination of a snake and lizard.Do you know something called Embalabasi? It’s a thing that originates from deep waters. It’s like a snake-lizard kind of stuff. A snake with limbs. They have been sent twice so far at home. Don’t joke with Uganda’s reggae artists. I have them on video.According to Sama Sojah, he considers himself fortunate because he has always spotted the creatures before they could allegedly harm him, something he attributes to God’s mercy and protection.God just feels mercy that I always see them first. That’s why, guys, I just see them. I thank God that I’m still alive. They don’t joke.The dancehall star further claimed that he sometimes receives warnings in his dreams, insisting that some people in the entertainment industry know more about witchcraft than they are willing to admit.He questioned fellow artists who publicly dismiss the existence of witchcraft in the industry, arguing that some bizarre incidents involving celebrities cannot simply be explained away.Guys even come in my dreams and warn me. I look at guys who claim that there is no witchcraft in the industry. They’re the same practicing it.Sama Sojah also pointed to cases where people who were once mentally stable and financially successful later experienced serious personal challenges, questioning how such situations could be explained.I view some interviews and question those people. How does someone become mad yet they were of sane mind and at one time bought cars? Then how do you claim that there is no witchcraft?He accused those who reject such claims of attempting to discredit artists who speak openly about their experiences.They’re the witch because they don’t want to be exposed and they start hiding their true characters. You want to believe that we who speak are the mad guys.Sama Sojah also reflected on his own mortality, saying that he fears that if anything happened to him, people might quickly attribute his death to alcohol or substance abuse without considering other possibilities.What if I died?
