This technology, which utilizes metal-organic frameworks that chemist Omar Yaghi has crafted, produced substantial water output during tests in 2023. The updated design employs less expensive materials compared to its predecessors. Now, containerized units can generate hundreds of liters of water each day, even in extreme climates.
