Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of KAS Eupen. This formalises QSI’s full ownership of the Club, following its takeover of KAS Eupen’s sporting operations in December 2025. Since then, QSI and KAS Eupen have been working closely together to build a strong foundation for the Club’s long-term sporting and commercial development. This has included strengthening the Club’s sporting structure and first-team squad, further developing pathways for young players, and establishing new commercial partnerships. While benefiting from QSI’s international expertise and network, KAS Eupen will continue to build on its unique identity as the only professional football club of Belgium’s German-speaking Community and remain deeply connected to its supporters, partners, and regional stakeholders. Under QSI appointed Sporting Director Pasquale Sensibile and Head Coach Felice Mazzù, KAS Eupen has assembled a younger squad and continues to strengthen the pathway between its academy and first team. Off the pitch, the Club has also built new commercial momentum, including the recent appointment of Entain’s bwin.tv as premium partner and shirt sponsor, and Robey Sportswear as its new equipment supplier. With the acquisition now finalised, QSI will continue working alongside KAS Eupen’s management, players, staff, supporters and local community to build on this progress and support the Club’s sustainable long-term growth. KAS Eupen joins QSI’s international football portfolio alongside its investments in Paris Saint-Germain and Sporting Clube de Braga. submitted by /u/Sparky-moon [link] [comments]
