The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for seven districts of Punjab on September 16, warning of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning at isolated places. Light to moderate rain is expected across the state. A yellow alert has also been issued for 15 districts on September 17, while no alert is in place for September 18 and 19.
