Tourism Minister Jo Etienne Abela has strongly condemned what he described as “criminal behaviour” by certain tourists after footage emerged on social media in recent hours.Abela said he is in contact with Home Affairs Minister Glenn Bedingfield to ensure the necessary steps are taken and that those responsible are held accountable.“We will continue working to ensure that anyone who breaks the law takes responsibility and faces the consequences of their actions,” Abela said.He added that the authorities will investigate any reports they receive and take action accordingly.Anyone found guilty will face punishment under measures introduced earlier this summer, including deportation and fines. What do you make of this?•
