The Beijing News reported that the attraction is being custom-designed for Universal Beijing Resort.That description makes Beijing’s project fundamentally different from Hollywood Drift based on what has been disclosed so far. Hollywood is an outdoor launched coaster built around speed, rotating vehicles, and exposed track. Beijing’s announced concept emphasizes an indoor environment and narrative immersion.However, Universal Beijing Resort has not publicly detailed the ride system, track layout, vehicle technology, construction budget, opening date, or whether the experience should technically be classified as a traditional dark ride.
