Nessel, naming leftist Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, disgrace-ridden former FBI Special Agent Richard Trask II (who was fired after domestic assault charges), agent Henrik Impola, former Detroit FBI chief Steven D’Antuono, along with the Michigan State Police and a parade of Deep State actors.In October 2020, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel charged the Null brothers (along with Eric Molitor and several others) in state court with:Providing material support for terrorist acts (related to an alleged plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and attack the state Capitol).Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.Prosecutors alleged they acted as lookouts during nighttime surveillance of Whitmer’s vacation home in Elk Rapids and participated in militia training and planning meetings tied to the Wolverine Watchmen and other groups. A jury acquitted the brothers and friend Eric Molitor of all crimes.Eric Molitor told RAV reporter Ben Bergquam in 2022, “The FBI set everything up. They drove people, they paid for everything. They wrote the script,”He alleged that Governor Whitmer herself decided the best time for the operation in collaboration with the FBI and state police.Molitor added: “Governor Whitmer herself opened her scheduling book and decided with the FBI and state police when to be the best time for the daytime ride, the nighttime ride. Then they duped people into it.”“We even have proof of them telling people, ‘Get as many people in the trucks as possible, and don’t tell them what you’re doing until they’re already on the road.’” It was 100% set up. Governor Whitmer, if they can do it to a nobody like me, they will come after everybody else,” Molitor said.The twins’ attorney, Stefany Lambert, provided the following statement to The Gateway Pundit:William and Bill Null have filed a civil lawsuit against the very agent who admitted under oath that his motto is “to not let the facts get in the way of a good story.” Agent Henrik Impola “handled” paid confidential informants and provided one with over $50,000 to investigate the Null brothers.William and Bill Null are law-abiding concealed carry holders, and average family men working construction jobs to support their families. Their lives were turned upside down when the same division that framed the Hutaree militia in 2010 dusted of the playbook.The case against Hutaree militia was dismissed by a judge for lack of evidence. A Joint Terrorism Task Force comprised of FBI and State Troopers ran informants to record and manufacture a case against the Nulls. The Nulls were tried by jury in 2023, and acquitted the brothers on all counts.One juror even hugged them after trial, apologized for everything they had been put through by the government. And they had been put through a lot. The brothers were arrested on October 7, 2020 for “providing material support for terrorist acts and felony firearm.The Joint Task Force had the brothers detained at a casino. Michael Null advised the task force that his 13 year old daughter was at home alone. The task force went to his home, and used a Mine-Resistant Ambush vehicle to drive over his car and bust the doors down.The minor daughter believed they were going to shoot her when she put her cell phone in her pocket. She was then handcuffed for hours while they ransacked her home. The task force went the same day to Bill Null’s home. There his wife, elderly father, and two children were present.They told the grandpa that they would “put him down like a dog” when he didn’t move quickly enough in his direction. The kids were handcuffed for hours, and the home was tossed.Nessel was a sore loser following trial, and blamed the jurors calling them “not concerned with the kidnapping and assassination of the governor” and this must be because they were “right leaning.” Nessel picked the jurors…In 2022, President Trump said this prosecution “fake” and a “railroad.” The Nulls were investigated and pursued by the Trump administration FBI from 2018 to 2020.William and Bill Null with their families. Government records cited in the complaint say the Bureau paid Robeson $19,328.79 from October 2019 to October 2020.That money, the brothers allege, bought the June 2020 Dublin, Ohio gathering, the July 2020 Cambria, Wisconsin training, and the Peebles, Ohio hotel stay.William Null was in Dublin, the complaint says, because Robeson put him there. Both brothers were in Wisconsin because Robeson opened that door. Impola monitored the Wisconsin trip in real time.When the defense later wanted Robeson on the stand to show who actually built the “plot,” the government flipped the script, branded him a “double agent,” and prosecuted him in Wisconsin as a felon in possession of a firearm, after which he took the Fifth. The complaint calls that what it looks like: hiding the man who built the file.Impola, the complaint notes, conceded at the Nulls’ trial that his unofficial office motto was, “Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story.”The brothers also accuse him of splicing undercover audio from the FBI-planned “recon” of Whitmer’s Elk Rapids cottage, then waving it off as a “typo” when defense counsel caught it.The brothers were arrested at their Plainwell and Shelbyville homes on October 7, 2020, and hauled to a casino for interrogation. Michael Null told officers his 13-year-old daughter was home alone. Agents executing the search warrant, the complaint says, drew a gun on the girl when she tried to put her phone in her pocket, then handcuffed and detained her for hours.At William Null’s house, officers drew guns on his hard-of-hearing elderly father for not walking toward them fast enough and, the complaint alleges, shouted they would “put him down like a dog.” Minor children were cuffed for hours. An aunt who arrived to take the kids was ordered off the property.The search, the brothers say, was as destructive as it was theatrical: kicked-in doors, ripped drywall, and a government MRAP that ran over a family car and caused about $18,000 in damage. Licensed pistols were seized.Michael Null’s wife’s handguns, the complaint claims, were left stashed in dressers in a way that looked like a setup for a later “bond violation.”That is the “domestic terrorism” case Nessel, and the FBI sold to the country in October 2020.The Nulls are represented by Detroit’s Defender of Liberty, Attorney Stefanie Lambert.
