Three Wednesday cards have been added in October at the Belmont Park fall meet, according to a New York Racing Association release on Sunday.Following the cancellation of three previous days of live racing, NYRA, the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association and New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc. requested and have received formal approval from the New York State Gaming Commission to conduct live racing on Oct. 14, Oct. 21 and Oct. 28.For details regarding races on the added dates, click here.Additionally, NYRA recently launched the Belmont Big Apple Bonus, a new initiative created to reward owners and trainers for participating in the fall meet at the new Belmont Park. The Big Apple Bonus provides up to $8,500 in awards per horse shipping or relocating to Belmont Park from other racing jurisdictions.
