The saddest part of this whole thing is that if this child qualifies for special education, and I’m sure she would based on the context, she is entitled to full days of school unless otherwise determined by her IEP team (which mom is a part of), and if she requires specialized transportation, the school is legally obligated to pay for it. Someone needs to explain procedural safeguards (her rights) to mama and get that woman an advocate.
