first of all; disclaimer: this is just kind or a rant, or just telling about it, nothing specific, no hate or anything. I was never really gifting heavily or anything, but I did gift a few times since I've started playing. I try to be mindful with robux if I actually end up buying some, because I don't do that a lot. so I stopped gifting because a lot of people were just begging or getting mean, seeming kind of ungrateful afterwards. yesterday I was playing in the pro servers and through a few rounds I noticed a person who was dressing and layering really great, I think they were in the Runway Queen rank. so I thought I'd gift them VIP, since I saw they don't have it. I gifted them a month of it after I really thought about. I was like, I have enough robux, I really like the style they have, they do dress really good, so why not? after I gifted them, they came up to me and just like... stood next to me for a bit, then they ran off into VIP. I was kinda missing a little "thanks" or something. they might've been in a different age group, I don't know. then when I checked, they already left. then I started thinking about one post I've seen before someone stating they were purposefully not buying vip as a challenge to rank up without it, and I thought maybe they were doing that too? maybe it's a stupid idea, but I'm such an overthinker. I don't necessarily mind this whole thing because at least they didn't end up being mean or anything. I mean, in the end it was me, who decided to gift them.
