Actor Stephen Root recently confirmed that he will appear in GTA 6, after people correctly identified him as the voice of the drug-runner Brian Heder. He confirmed this on September 13, and on September 14, Root won his first-ever Emmy award for his incredible performance on the show Widow's Bay. In winning an Emmy, Root becomes just the second-ever Emmy-winning actor to appear in a GTA game. The first? That was James Woods, who voiced Mike Toreno in 2004's GTA: San Andreas.
