Walt Disney World Annual Passholders have a few more opportunities to visit the theme parks without worrying about making a park reservation first.Disney has added four more Good to Go Days to the September 2026 calendar, expanding what was already becoming a fairly flexible month for Annual Passholders.The newly added dates are September 23, 24, 28, and 29. With those additions, September now has 11 Good to Go Days in total.Credit: DisneyThat gives passholders several more chances to make a last-minute trip to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom without going through the normal theme park reservation process.While Good to Go Days don’t completely eliminate every restriction tied to an Annual Pass, they can make a Disney World visit considerably easier to plan.And with four additional dates now available during the final stretch of September, passholders have more flexibility than they did when the month began.Four More Good to Go Days AddedThe latest update adds four dates toward the end of September:September 23September 24September 28September 29Those dates join September 2, 3, 8, 10, 14, 15, and 16, bringing the month’s total to 11 Good to Go Days.For Annual Passholders who like making spontaneous trips, that can be a useful perk.Instead of deciding ahead of time which park they want to visit and securing a reservation, eligible passholders can simply choose where they want to go on one of these designated dates.That could be particularly helpful for locals or passholders who live close enough to Disney World to make shorter visits rather than building an entire vacation around a park day.Of course, there are still a couple of important rules to remember.What a Good to Go Day Actually MeansDisney introduced Good to Go Days as a way to give Annual Passholders certain dates when theme park reservations aren’t required.On one of these dates, passholders can enter any Walt Disney World theme park without first making a theme park reservation. However, admission remains subject to the applicable Annual Pass blockout dates and park capacity limitations.In other words, a Good to Go Day doesn’t override the restrictions attached to a particular Annual Pass.If someone’s pass is blocked out on a particular date, the Good to Go designation doesn’t suddenly make that date available. Capacity restrictions can also still affect admission.For passholders who are eligible to visit, though, the biggest difference is that one planning step disappears.That’s especially valuable for guests who don’t necessarily know several days in advance which park they want to visit.Maybe someone checks the weather and decides EPCOT sounds better than Magic Kingdom. Perhaps a passholder wants to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a few hours after work. Others may simply wake up and decide they want to spend part of their day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.Good to Go Days make those types of trips easier because guests don’t have to secure the usual reservation beforehand.Already Have a Reservation? Disney Handles It AutomaticallyThe system also accounts for passholders who made reservations before Disney designated a particular date as Good to Go.If a passholder already holds a theme park reservation for a date that later becomes a Good to Go Day, Disney automatically removes that reservation.Credit: DisneyThe original reservation can still appear under My Plans in the My Disney Experience app, but it no longer counts toward the maximum number of reservations that the passholder can hold at one time.That means passholders don’t have to rush into the app and manually cancel something once Disney updates the calendar.More importantly, the change frees up that reservation slot.Depending on how someone uses an Annual Pass, that could make a noticeable difference. A passholder could potentially use the newly available reservation slot for another date while still visiting Disney World on the Good to Go Day.It’s a small part of the system, but it helps make the reservation-free designation more useful.Passholders Already Have Another Reservation ExceptionGood to Go Days aren’t the only way Annual Passholders can enter Disney World’s theme parks without making a reservation.Passholders can generally visit a park after 2:00 p.m. without a theme park reservation.There is one major exception to that rule: Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays. Passholders still need to follow the reservation requirements for those weekend visits.Good to Go Days are different because the reservation exemption applies throughout the day rather than requiring passholders to wait until the afternoon.That can make them much more valuable for someone planning a full park day.A passholder could arrive in the morning, spend several hours inside the park, and still avoid making the reservation that would normally be required.It also gives guests more freedom to make decisions closer to the actual day of their visit.September Has Become One of the Bigger Good to Go Months of 2026Looking at the full 2026 calendar shows how much the number of Good to Go Days can vary from one month to another.January had several dates spread throughout the month, including January 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 28, and 29.February had seven dates, while March had only two. April offered 10 Good to Go Days. June had four.Things picked up again during the summer.July included 11 Good to Go Days: July 8, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 22, 26, 29, and 30. August followed with six dates on August 2, 3, 9, 25, 26, and 31.September has now reached the same 11-day total that July offered.Credit: DisneyThat’s a substantial number of reservation-free opportunities within a single month, particularly for passholders who have flexibility in deciding when they want to visit.The dates aren’t all grouped together, either.Disney spread September’s Good to Go Days across several portions of the month. The first arrived on September 2 and 3, followed by additional dates on September 8, 10, 14, 15, and 16.Now, the four newly announced dates extend that flexibility deeper into the month on September 23, 24, 28, and 29.Passholders Still Need to Check Their Individual RestrictionsAs convenient as these dates can be, Annual Passholders shouldn’t treat a Good to Go designation as guaranteed admission under every circumstance.Blockout dates still apply based on the type of Annual Pass a guest holds, and park capacity can remain a factor.That makes it worth checking the details attached to an individual pass before heading to Disney World.Still, for eligible passholders, the latest update provides something many frequent Disney visitors value: more freedom.The park reservation system requires guests to make an additional decision before arriving.
