Innovation Centre inaugurated at Easwari Engineering College - The HinduPublished - September 19, 2026 02:07 am IST - ChennaiAn Innovation Centre to help foster innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and industry-oriented learning was inaugurated at Easwari Engineering College, Ramapuram on Friday by Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan.Several specialised laboratories and pre-incubation centres were subsequently inaugurated at the Centre. It is supported by an ecosystem of centres of excellence associated with leading technology companies, according to a press release. The SRM Easwari Innovation Centre received a contribution of ₹1.5 crore from the SRM Easwari Alumni Association towards construction of the building.Present on the occasion were R. Shivakumar, Chairman, SRM Group of Institutions, Chennai, Ramapuram, and Trichy; Geetha Shivakumar, Vice-Chairperson; S. Niranjan, Co-Chairman; and P.
