Purebred mini-schnauzers that are CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered actually do cost that much from reputable breeders and waiting lists are 1-2 years long in the Toronto area. I said I paid $750. Compared to the $2k-$3k they normally run, that's a bargain. I have terrible allergies to pet dander but I love keeping dogs. Therefore, I need to have a hypoallergenic breed. Mini Schnauzers are just my favorite breed because they have the face of a little old man.
