The automatic installation of the Copilot app, which did not ask users to opt in, started at the beginning of December but was temporarily disabled due to “a technical issue”. Unfortunately, the tech giant has now resumed this. This means that if your organisation uses Windows and is running Microsoft 365 Apps Version 2511 or later, the Copilot app will automatically install in the background. Admins must follow these steps to prevent the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
