When we lost our dog a few years ago, after a few months I decided it was time to adopt another. I had a checklist in my head: small, non-shedding, and not black (the dog I lost was black so I wanted one that didn't look like him). I got a 100lb German shepherd x rottweiler who sheds a ridiculous amount and yes... he's totally black! He was a home from home adoption as kennels would have been too stressful for him and he's the biggest baby ever. I wouldn't be without him!
