Abhilash, N. Nawaz, and M. Vishnu were suspended pending inquiry after they were found in an intoxicated state while on duty during a random inspection by higher officials on Friday, an officer said.Abhilash, meanwhile, managed to escape police custody while they were being taken for a mandatory medical examination, and he was yet to be traced, the officer said.
