The Greater Bengaluru Authority's Executive Committee has approved a GIS-based system integrating data on roads, utilities, and projects. This move aims to end decades of isolated departmental efforts, saving public money and citizen inconvenience. The platform will also empower citizens to report issues, enhancing transparency and accountability in urban development.
