ES (ESU6) Fri 3 July · Independence Day early closeE-mini S&P 500 Futures (Sep 2026)CME_MINI:ESU2026BeneathTheBookES (ESU6) Fri 3 July · Independence Day early close (session ends 17:00 UTC, ~3.5hr, thin holiday liquidity) The structure shifted down this week. Yesterday broke through 7500 and the 7505 support that had held for days — both gave way. NQ sold off hard (-538), ES held better (-15) but closed soft at 7528.25. Price now sits below the July monthly open at 7543.25. 7500 flips its role: it was the pin all week, now it's the put wall + prior POC (7500.75) the line in the sand. Map: - Overhead: 7528 settle, 7543 month open, 7555 VAH - Pivot: 7500 (put wall, 14k OI) - Support shelf: 7479–7483 (VAL + RTH low) - Below: HVL 7450, then weekly open 7398 as the larger floor If 7500 reclaims buyers take the pivot back, eyes on 7528 then 7543. If 7479–7483 loses shelf breaks, HVL 7450 next, then 7398. Below the month open, 7500 is the line in the sand. Thin holiday session, so the real test is Monday. Levels are settlement, GEX, and real order-flow data (prior settle user-verified vs CME, Δ0.00). Where I'm watching, not a signal. Not financial advice.
