Square Enix announced a number of new English book and manga localizations at Anime Expo 2026, with Final Fantasy entries like FFVII Rebirth Dear Destiny among them. 10 titles total came up during the panel. Of those, eight of them are upcoming manga series. However, we won’t start seeing these until January 2027, with the FFVII novel and first volumes of Inuta: My Canine Classmate and Tamagawa, Is That You making their debut that month. First, here are the release dates and details for the new manga series Square Enix will release in English in 2027. Daughter of the Dragon God volume 1 – March 2027 – $14.99. KasuRich volume 1 – March 2027 – $14.99. Inuta: My Canine Classmate volume 1 – January 2027 – 14.99. My Classmate James volume 1 – February 2027 – $12.99. Not Quite Love volume 1 – April 2027 – $12.99. Overpowered and Underpaid: An OP Swordmaster Turns Hit Streamer volume 1 – April 2027 – $12.99. Supervillain Boy – February 2027 – $12.99. Tamagawa, Is That You? – January 2027 – $14.99 Both the Square Enix Anime Expo 2026 books this time around are Final Fantasy ones, with one being the FFVII Rebirth Dear Destiny novel and the other the FFXIV Picture Book: Me and the Cornservant. The FFVII volume focuses on backstories for both Aerith and Tifa. That debuted in Japan in January 2026 and will cost $26.99. The FFXIV Picture Book is about the character that debuted in Dawntrail. It showed up in Japan in December 2025, but won’t appear here until April 2027. It will cost $17.99. Initial cover art for the different books and volumes also appeared alongside the reveals.
