400 government primary schools to get facelift in Kakinada district - The HinduPublished - July 04, 2026 06:08 pm IST - KAKINADAAt least 400 government model primary schools in Kakinada district have been identified for infrastructure upgrades under the ‘Our School – Our Future’ initiative.District Collector M. N. Harendhira Prasad said the selected schools would be provided with basic infrastructure through minor repair works, improved drinking water facilities, renovation of toilets, painting of school buildings and other essential amenities.Officials of the Kakinada Municipal Corporation, the School Education Department, Rural Water Supply, Housing, Public Health and Engineering departments have been directed to submit a final assessment of the requirements in the identified schools by July 5.
