The CBSE is set to ease rules for private schools, allowing 'bodies corporate' like companies to establish institutions, moving away from the current 'not-for-profit' restrictions. This aims to boost private sector participation and quality school development. Recent changes also include withdrawing the mandatory No Objection Certificate from states and revising land and playground norms to be more practical, aligning with NEP 2020.
