My friend got a super chill super sweet adult beagle through a rehome request on Facebook. They didn’t have as many specifications as OOP, mostly just looking for a chill dog that they could verify was cool with kids (they had rescued a dog from shelter the year before that ended up mauling my friend, so I was surprised they even tried for another dog). The owners asked for a $300 rehome fee (I think mostly to weed out unserious/unprepared potentials). Worked out really well for everyone.
