Woman killed after car hits bike in Shamshabad - The HinduPublished - September 05, 2026 08:38 pm IST - HYDERABADA 33-year-old woman was killed after a car rammed into the motorcycle on which she was travelling as a pillion rider on the Shamshabad Airport Approach Road on Saturday morning. The RGIA police booked a case. A CCTV captured the sequence of events and has since gone viral. The footage shows the car hitting the motorcycle from behind, following which the car allegedly speeds away from the spot.The accident occurred at about 6.43 a.m. near a U-turn on the approach road. Pullamoni Radhika, wife of Rajashekar, a housekeeper and resident of Rallaguda, Shamshabad, was travelling on a motorcycle bearing registration number TS 07 HX 0918 when a car, an airport taxi bearing registration number TG 07 X 8636, driven by Nalavalla Umakanth, hit the two-wheeler from behind.Radhika sustained severe injuries to her head and face and was shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.According to details available on the e-challan website, the car is registered in the name of ‘Carrum Mobility Solu’. The vehicle is an airport taxi operated through Uber.The e-challan records show five traffic violations against the vehicle between July and September. On July 9, the vehicle was issued a ₹100 fine for parking on a service road at the airport road under RGI Airport Traffic Police limits.On August 11, it was fined ₹1,000 for wrong or unauthorised parking and obstruction of the carriageway in Afzalgunj under Goshamahal Traffic Police limits. On August 16, the vehicle was issued two separate ₹1,000 fines for signal jumping, one in the Attapur area under Rajendra Nagar Traffic Police limits and another within Rajendra Nagar Traffic Police limits. The latest entry is dated September 4, when the vehicle was fined ₹100 for wrong parking on the carriageway under L.B.
