Lovin Malta Group is expanding across Lovin Malta, MeetInc, Love Malta and Love Malta Eats, and we’re looking for a creative, switched-on Social Media Executive to join the team.This is not just a content creation role.As part of the team, you’ll be closely involved in the daily news cycle, helping us deliver timely, accurate and engaging coverage of the stories that matter to our audiences.You’ll be expected to keep up with what is happening in Malta and around the world, identify stories that are relevant to our readers and help translate breaking news and major developments into strong social media coverage.From national and international news, politics and court stories to viral moments, business, food, lifestyle and culture, you’ll help shape what thousands of people see, watch, share and talk about every day.Your day-to-day work will include creating social media posts, monitoring news and developing stories for social platforms, spotting trends, covering major events and breaking developments, engaging with our communities and helping our brands stand out in an increasingly fast-moving digital landscape.You’ll also need to be comfortable working in a newsroom environment where priorities can change quickly and where important stories may require immediate coverage.We’re looking for someone with:• Excellent English and Maltese communication skills• A strong interest in both Maltese and international news and current affairs• A natural understanding of social media, digital culture and online audiences• The ability to identify which stories are relevant, timely and engaging for our readers• Strong creative instincts and an eye for what makes people stop scrolling• The ability to work quickly and accurately when covering breaking or developing news• A passion for storytelling, Malta and what’s happening around you• A valid Maltese work permit and residency in MaltaIf you’re constantly keeping up with what’s happening, thinking about how a story should be told on social media and looking for the next post, Reel or story before everyone else, we want to hear from you.Send your CV to bettina@lovinmalta.com•
