Canadian Minister of Industry, Melanie Joly – screengrab XLast week Canadian economic minister and clueless clown, Melanie Joly, announced that Canada will win their trade war with the United States. President Trump is tired of the one-sided trade benefits Canada enjoys while taking advantage of the US. When the two countries came to agreement last week, Carney walked away from the deal hoping his actions will interfere with the midterm elections. Joly also attempted to calm Canadian fears by announcing Alstom will manufacture 313 new rail cars for VIA Rail Canada and provide long-term technical support and spare parts services.Alston reported, “The new fleet will connect eight major routes across Canada, improving comfort, accessibility and connectivity for passengers travelling across the country’s long-distance, regional and remote routes.”So, this ignorant minister really tried to calm Canadian workers’ fears by announcing a rail contract that will take years to complete!Joly is interfering in US midterm elections. Hey Canada; I thought this was BAD? Oh, it’s ok when you do it?FN pic.twitter.com/WE0U5EeXrY— Ray (@CanadienBacon77) September 4, 2026 Joly also bragged that Canada will win the trade war with Trump.Mélanie Joly: "I'm convinced that we will be able to show the world that Canada will win this trade war." pic.twitter.com/oks8XhDUe9— Scott Robertson (@sarobertson_) September 3, 2026 The entire Canadian economy has a lower GDP than Texas. So, good luck! Via Brandon Gil.Your entire nation has a lower annual GDP than Texas. You need us a lot more than we need you.CCP Carney would rather plunge his nation into poverty than negotiate with President Trump. https://t.co/AlBvRU0xDX— Brandon Gill (@realBrandonGill) August 25, 2026 Susan Kokinda from Promethean Action reported on this in one of this week’s videos:Susan Kokinda: We are in a war. Please do not think about the midterms from the standpoint of political preferences. We are in a war. We know it. This administration knows it.And the enemy, whether it’s Mark Carney using Canada north of here, or the Europeans, the British, and so on, they know it as well. And Mark Carney’s industry minister, who, not surprisingly, trained in Oxford, Melanie Joly, she made very clear what they are doing. Okay. She just let it right out. We are politically targeting these tariffs to economically damage particular states for political reasons. Now, I’m in ground zero here in Michigan because of the way that supply chains have been entangled with Canada over the previous period under NAFTA, and even under the USMCA, which this administration is in the process of pulling out, there is a lot of dislocation in Michigan. It takes time to reshore your supply lines, to get your entire supply chains over on this side of the border. There is going to be a huge disruption, and there is going to be political pain. That’s precisely why they are doing what they are doing. But again, I come back to the fact that this administration understands the nature of this war.And yesterday, the president announced a new emergency declaration to secure America’s bulk power system from foreign sources. Now, he’s taken previous actions to secure our domestic grid, both in terms of energy supply and in terms of vulnerabilities within the grid. But this is different. This is aimed at the bulk power that we get from other countries. What is one of the countries that we get bulk power from?Duh. Canada. It’s not a huge amount overall, but when you look at particular sections of the country, like New England, like Minnesota, like North Dakota, Maine, they are extremely reliant on bulk power from Canada, whose industry minister just said, “we’re carrying out economic and political warfare against the United States.” So this is one of the president’s actions, I think, very much in response to that. So what I want to leave people with in the opening is just this single idea.Via Promethean Action:Canada Just Admitted: We're Targeting Your Elections! #shorts https://t.co/LS9eCHlWLI via @YouTube— The Gateway Pundit (@gatewaypundit) September 6, 2026 The post Canadian Economic Minister Admits: We’re Targeting US Midterm Elections (Video) appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
