Karnataka FDA seizes drugs worth ₹4 lakh from illegal storage - The HinduUpdated - September 06, 2026 09:27 pm IST - BengaluruOfficials said the crackdown on illegal storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals followed specific intelligence about major compliance breaches. | Photo Credit: The HinduThe Drugs Enforcement Wing of the Karnataka Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) raided unlicensed e-commerce storage facilities and seized large stocks of unauthorised medicines on Sunday.According to details shared by officials, the crackdown on the illegal storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals happened following precise intelligence information regarding major compliance breaches.While one team led by Manohar, Assistant Drugs Controller (ADC) from the State Intelligence Branch, raided a unit in Anekal, another team led by Vibha, Drugs Inspector, Bangalore Rural, raided another unit in Devanahalli.Mr. Manohar, along with other drugs inspectors, raided the unlicensed premises of Amazon Seller Services Private Limited located in Thattanahalli, Anekal taluk, and seized medicines worth ₹2,45,352.
