Avinad, who allegedly attacked constable D. Srinu when the police intercepted him near Manikonda village. Avinad suffered bullet injuries in both legs when the police opened fire on him and was admitted to a hospital. He was produced in court after being discharged from the hospital, Gudivada Deputy Superintendent of Police P. Srinivas said.Eluru Range Inspector General of Police (IGP) G.V.G. Ashok Kumar stated that the Devarapalli police of East Godavari district arrested Charan, Prabhu, and Chinna, the remaining members of the gang. The gang members attacked the police within the limits of the Devarapalli police station and escaped during a vehicle check. Armed Reserve Police Constable V. Venkateswara Rao, who was injured in the attack, is undergoing treatment at the hospital, Mr. Ashok Kumar said.
