I should specify big corporate brands. Like Chick Fil A, Target, Nike, Capital One, etc. It's built into their marketing to an extent. That and donations for events. Not necessarily just every single corporate brand. But for a lot of bigger corporations, the idea that you can send them a wedding invite or graduation invite to recieve free stuff is part of how they advertise, even if they don't send something to everyone.
