Last year my wife and I decided to get rid of some lawn furniture. Decent stuff, actually. Used, but in good shape. I took the time to pressure wash it, then listed it on Craigslist Free Stuff. Had about a half dozen people reach out asking if I could hold it for them. So I basically set up a queue based on who asked first. One by one I went down through the queue as one by one the next in line never showed up. So I deleted that ad, and posted another. I included a picture of the furniture sitting in our driveway with a note that whoever gets it first gets it. Don't bother emailing, knocking on our door, or anything. Just roll up and load it up. As soon as I see it's gone, I'll take down this ad. It was gone within the hour.
