Parliamentarians Tenzin Choezin and Ngawang Lodoe Drawu Receive Audience with Kyabgon Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, 42nd Sakya Trizin, 43rd Sakya TrizinDharamshala: As part of the programme of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Parliamentarians Tenzin Choezin and Ngawang Lodoe Drawu continued their official visit to Tibetan communities in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.On 5 September 2026, the third day of their official parliamentary visit, Parliamentarians Tenzin Choezin and Ngawang Lodoe Drawu began the day at the Sakya Centre.At the Rajpur Tibetan Women’s Centre, they addressed the gathering in accordance with parliamentary guidelines for official tours and interacted with the members through a question-and-answer session.At Rajpur Tibetan Homes School, they were received by the Principal, Headmaster, staff, and students. After touring the premises, they addressed the gathering and highlighted the important role of Tibetan students in the just cause of Tibet.They also met with retired school staff and members of the older generation at the respective Old Age Homes.At Dolma Phodrang, the Parliamentarians sought the blessings and guidance of the Kyabgon Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche and conveyed greetings on behalf of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile. They also had an audience with the 43rd Sakya Trizin Gyana Vajra, followed by a visit to Sakya College to seek the blessings of the 42nd Sakya Trizin Ratna Vajra.The day concluded at Geypheling Tibetan Settlement, where they met with residents and discussed housing-related matters.– Report filed by Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat
