Two people have been safely rescued after their jet ski overturned in the sea off Pembroke yesterday.Civil Protection Department rescuers from Station 5 were called to the scene, where they located the two individuals in the water.Both were rescued and brought aboard the CPD’s RHIB Delta 2 before being transported back to shore at Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq.Once on land, the pair were assessed by a medical team from Mater Dei Hospital’s Emergency Department.Thankfully, neither required hospitalisation and both were discharged at the scene.The Civil Protection Department thanked Mater Dei Hospital’s Emergency Department, the Malta Police Force and the Armed Forces of Malta for their assistance during the operation.The incident thankfully ended with both people making it safely back to shore.Photo credits to @civilprotectionmalta•
