Aroma Music has opened up about her painful upbringing and the experiences that have shaped her into a stronger person who, she says, is no longer easily hurt by life’s disappointments.Speaking on NRG Ignition with Mr Henrie, Aroma revealed that she is now the only child in her family after losing her two older siblings and, more recently, her father in 2025. She said the losses have left her with only her mother, making her current family situation feel particularly lonely. It is going not so good, it feels too lonely, the loneliness is too loud. Rather than escaping the pain, she has learned to live with it, developing what she describes as a strong heart that makes it difficult for things to hurt her the way they once did.Prima Kadarshi’s terrifying ordeal with a witch doctor in BududaDespite everything she has experienced, Aroma believes music has given her something to hold on to. She explained that having music to wake up to and work on has helped her cope with life’s challenges, suggesting that without it, things could have been much worse.I think if I wasn’t singing and have nothing to look up at every morning… it’d be worse. Whenever you’re there and a writer sends you a song and you go and do it.
