Malta is in for another scorching start to the week, with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning as temperatures are expected to climb as high as 34°C.The warning covers Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th September, with maximum temperatures expected to reach 33°C or 34°C.Monday is forecast to be hot and sunny, reaching 33°C but feeling like 36°C, while Tuesday will get even hotter with a high of 34°C and another feels-like temperature of 36°C.Some cloud cover should begin creeping in from Wednesday, which is forecast to be partly cloudy with a high of 32°C. Thursday will be mainly sunny, before mainly cloudy conditions arrive on Friday.Temperatures are expected to ease slightly over the weekend, with highs of 31°C on both Saturday and Sunday, although the UV index is forecast to remain at a very high 8 throughout the week.So while September might officially be here, Malta’s summer heat clearly isn’t going anywhere just yet.Share with your household!•
