Michael Carrick is confident that Manchester United can compete at the top of the Premier League despite comparatively limited spending compared to rivals.Manchester United spent around £163m on new signings during the summer, focusing on a midfield rebuild with Carlos Baleba, Youri Tielemans, and Andrey Santos all arriving at Old Trafford.Their £163m spend ranked ninth for overall spending and seventh for net spend across the Premier League.
