Eddie Hearn is threatening legal action against TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of Zuffa Boxing and the UFC.The Matchroom Boxing chief claims TKO went behind his back to try and ‘lure’ his client Anthony Joshua into accepting a fight with Tyson Fury in the United States.There is an ongoing battle over the location of Joshua and Fury’s fightGettyTKO, Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh and streaming service Netflix are pushing hard for the Battle of Britain to take place at New York’s Madison Square Garden.However, Joshua has it written into his contract that the bout must be contested in the United Kingdom.Joshua and Hearn want the fight to be staged at London’s Wembley Stadium and appear to be standing firm.Hearn even recently revealed that talks have re-opened for the bout to take place at the iconic 90,000-seater.Despite this, Hearn claims that TKO approached Joshua with a last-gasp offer on Friday to face Fury at MSG, setting a 90-minute deadline for the two-time unified heavyweight world champion to accept.Hearn is now set to serve TKO with a legal letter for alleged unlawful interference. “Yesterday, TKO went around the back again to try and offer [Anthony] Joshua money to do the [Tyson Fury] fight in America,” Hearn told DAZN in the aftermath of Katie Taylor’s farewell fight at Croke Park.“It’s a dirty, dirty game. [TKO said] ‘You’ve got an hour and a half to make your decision.’ “What don’t you understand? I signed to fight in Britain. I want the fight in Britain.“You can’t buy everybody.
