The Malta Ranger Unit has appealed for information after two people allegedly beat a protected juvenile Western Whip Snake to death with golf clubs in St Paul’s Bay.According to the Ranger Unit, the incident took place at around 1:40pm in the Buġibba/Qawra area, close to Port Ruman and the Mr Kebab area. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)The two individuals have been reported to police, with the Malta Ranger Unit now asking anyone who may have seen them in the area to come forward.The organisation said that anyone who spots the individuals, who may be carrying golf clubs, should contact Qawra Police immediately and refer to police report 11/POL/6317/2026.The Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) is also involved in the case.Anyone who witnessed the alleged incident or saw the individuals in the area at the time is being urged to contact police or the Malta Ranger Unit.Cover photo via Malta Ranger Unit•
