Russian President Vladimir Putin met with US envoys at the Kremlin for peace talks. Both sides agreed to pause strikes on each other's capitals during the discussions. US envoys will also visit Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, for the first time. Russian attacks killed five people at a Ukrainian industrial site.
