Although it is entirely possible that happened, cake dresses are NOT a new concept. Also, the only things really similar to the kalitaku dress (which, btw is gorgeous), are the colours and the idea that it's a cake dress. Again, the colours are very stereotypical cake like, and cake dress concept has been done BEFORE. The piping is pretty different, and the corset as well. The length is also completely different. Before everyone comes at me saying that the dti team has done this before, I totally agree with you, because the examples, colouring, shape and style were IDENTICAL, eg the flower heels in dti, and the petal dress. This is not identical, and although the devs might've possibly taken INSPIRATION (which they should credit her if they have, but it's kinda implausible, personally), it is NOT THE SAME DRESS. I agree that there are some similarities to the kalitaku dress, but a few similarities doesn't mean it's copied.
