PN MP Mark Anthony Sammut has filed a police report after a retired police officer encouraged him to take his own life in a Facebook comment.Sammut posted about the incident on Facebook, identifying the man as Patrick Attard and saying the comment had been left underneath a post published by ONE.“Patrick Attard, a retired police officer, encouraged me to commit suicide,” Sammut wrote. “I filed a police report about this.”Sammut then claimed that Attard had previously been suspended from the Police Force and was brought back after Labour returned to government in 2013.He went on to strongly criticise Labour over the matter, before directly responding to Attard’s comment.“Far from committing suicide, I will work even harder to make Malta a country where justice is served and where our children have a future,” Sammut wrote.What do you make of this?•
