Iliman Ndiaye admits that it was a “difficult” decision to leave Everton in the summer transfer window, but is “happy” to have joined Manchester City. The winger made his Premier League debut on Saturday following his £65 million move on Deadline Day, surprisingly taking Phil Foden’s place in the starting lineup. The 26-year-old featured for 86 minutes before he was replaced by youngster Ryan McAidoo as Enzo Maresca’s side narrowly beat Coventry City at home thanks to a first-half goal from Erling Haaland.
