The half-time player ratings for Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest are in as the Lilywhites head into the break drawing 0-0.Tottenham first-half player ratings vs Nottingham ForestAntonin Kinsky – Forest have barely threatened Spurs, leaving Antonin Kinsky with little to do throughout the first half. He did make a big stop to deny Morgan Gibbs-White one-on-one, although it was given as offside. 6.Pedro Porro – Tottenham have had plenty of corners in the first half, and Porro’s delivery from the right has caused a few problems for Forest. Aside from his set-piece threat, Porro has also looked to offer a threat on the right, as he is not scared to go beyond Savio. He did create Spurs’ best chance of the half when he played Marmoush through, but the forward failed to convert. 7.Jan Paul van Hecke – The centre-back has seen plenty of the ball at the back and has been keen in Tottenham’s build-up, as he often looks to pick a forward pass, whether it is fizzing it in or playing it over the top. 6.5.Micky van de Ven – The Dutchman has barely been called into action in the first half, leaving him with little to do defensively. However, the few times he has had to do any defending, he has looked immense, sweeping things up well. He also covered for Udogie whenever the full-back ventured forward. 8.Destiny Udogie – He has been a bright spark at left-back, often linking up well with Tel and overlapping the winger. The full-back is often high whenever Tottenham are in possession. He did have a good opportunity to play Savio in behind, but his pass was short. He has popped up on the wings on a few occasions as well. 6.Rodrigo Bentancur – Nothing fancy from the Uruguayan, but his role in midfield cannot be understated, as Bentancur has done the simple things very well. He has helped keep things ticking with his passing, which has often been progressive, while also offering cover defensively, making key interceptions and tackles. 7.Conor Gallagher – Deployed as the most advanced of the midfield three, Gallagher has covered a lot of ground, often tracking back to help cover at right-back, although his offensive threat has been toothless. 5.5.Savio – The winger has seen the ball a few times and has run at the Forest backline but has barely created anything in the final third yet. At least he looks to be trying things. 6.Omar Marmoush – The forward did not have that many chances, but had a good opportunity to grab his first in a Tottenham shirt after Porro played him through following a Spurs counter.
