The outlet shared a photo of Disney cast members and guests using the checkout station on social media:The counter features Art Deco-style gray and black theming alongside the finished wood, matching the aesthetic of the vintage camera-themed merchandise location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s located near the main entrance to the gift shop on Hollywood Boulevard.Credit: DisneyEven though Walt Disney World Resort revived this checkout station, another full-sized wooden register is still absent from The Darkroom at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The missing station was in another section of the lengthy gift shop, which means that guests may have to wait longer to purchase Disney Trading Pins, Mickey or Minnie Mouse ears, MagicBands, and other souvenirs.Walt Disney World Resort has not publicly acknowledged the recent changes in The Darkroom at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or indicated whether it plans to bring back the second full-sized checkout station.
