Family members recently moved from CA to VA, drove 2 vehicles (paid for gas for 2 vehicles), paid a company to pack and ship a 2bd rm apartment with lots of Knick nacks, paid for 3 nights of hotel stays, bought food, souvenirs, and other splurges for less than $4k total so, yes $5k is a stretch. BUT if this was truly posted by a high school student then reshared, I understand why they may not be accurate when it comes to moving cost. Unfortunately with so many scams going on it’s hard to tell.
