Extraction Soulslike Mistfall Hunter reached one million players in its first week, and it’s rewarding players with free loot and a peek at what’s to come in a content roadmap. At the top of the list of what’s to come is a solo mode, which has been the most requested feature at launch, leading to a Mixed rating on Steam from players annoyed that the game did not ship with one. Image via Skystone Games “Since our official launch, we’ve received an overwhelming amount of feedback requesting a Solo Mode for Brandrgarde,” the devs said in an update today. “Following intensive discussions and preliminary development over the past few days, we can now confirm that we’ll be introducing Solo Mode for both the Normal and Cataclysm difficulties of Brandrgarde in the middle of Season 1 in September.” The devs warned that “adding two new modes will inevitably split the matchmaking queue and present fresh class balance challenges in solo play,” so it plans to “continue to evaluate these factors and will communicate our findings with you before making further adjustments.” The unveiled roadmap teases multiple phases of the season one rollout in September, adding new tasks, a speed challenge, a new monster, and more along with the solo mode. To celebrate the million players who tried the game in the first week, a thank you pack of items including Standing Post: Spellcasting, five Moonlight Nectar, a Pro Combat Bag, and an Advanced Combat Bag will be available to all players who log in before Aug. 12. In the immediate future, a new update today will increase Dried Flower Knot drops and open up challenges for Einherjar Mistlords, along with aiming to fix issues with the game’s actual biggest issue: performance and overall stability.
