Overwatch is continuing its trend of finding voice actors for its new heroes from within the content creation community with its latest addition D.Mon, Blizzard announced today. As it was just revealed in a new video featuring a reading of a new D.Mon comic, the Korean MEKA pilot hero is being brought to life by content creator and voice actor LilyPichu, who rose to prominence and fame on Twitch and YouTube as a successful streamer since the 2010s. Her other voice work in games includes Sayu in Genshin Impact, Muni Ohnaruto in Japanese game D4DJ First Mix, Disciple of Doran in Legends of Runeterra, and Salt Io in Paladins, but she’s got a rather extensive track record in dubbing anime over the past six years, too. Along with LilyPichu will come fans of her work, and there’s quite a few as she boasts over three million subscribers on YouTube totaling over 640 million views, along with over a million followers on both Twitter/X and Instagram. D.Mon’s voice actor being found in the content creation community follows in the footsteps of fellow 2026 new hero release Anran, who is voiced by Twitch streamer and content creator Fareeha, showing that the pipeline of going from just playing the game to actually being in the game is possible in Overwatch. You can also hear a bit of LilyPichu as D.Mon in the hero’s new reveal trailer, and she becomes playable in-game when season four of Overwatch launches next week on Aug. 11.
